Railway employees plan 36-hour strike in France beginning 6 September

Various media report workers of the French National Railway Corporation will strike from 8:00 pm, local time, 6 September, to 8:00 am, 8 September.

SNCF operates almost all of France's railway system, including the country's high-speed trains, TGV.

Union workers in France are planning a general strike to protest pension reform on 7 September.
