American Express Netherlands is looking for two Business Travel Sales Managers

The purpose of this role is to generate revenue growth through the acquisition of mid market travel accounts new to American Express Business Travel in Netherlands.

Responsibilities and Key Measurements

• Close pipeline opportunities and participate in negotiations that will yield top line growth for Business Travel Sales in The Netherlands
• Develop business from a zero base with customers ranging $500k -$5M in travel spend
• Maintain strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders along with building and developing senior level client contacts
• Ensure accurate pipeline management and reporting
• Agreed and signed contracts
• Signed and traded achieved transactions versus individual target
• Sales Pipeline reporting

Accountabilities:

• Achievement of individual sales and traded transaction targets.
• Achievement of premium revenue targets
• Accurate maintenance of Sales Force.Com database of individual leads and prospects

What do we expect from you?

• In depth knowledge of the travel industry and its economic models including travel technology. Knowledge of local competitors value propositions.
• Proven track record in sales negotiations and closing skills with national corporations
• High level communication skills and the ability to adapt their communication style to suit the audience (Fluent in Dutch and English)
• Proven success in managing structured sales process. Can strategically plan to achieve both long and short term results
• Has the ability to quickly identify an opportunity
• A high level of business and market acumen. Has strong understanding of contracts, financial analysis and terminology
• The ability to demonstrate strong negotiation and influencing skills with and the ability to influence prospective client decisions.
• Enjoys working in a team based environment, potentially in virtual teams
